Re: 65 d100 disc brake conversion (Front Brakes) only
Other than buying Scarebird hubs, which hubs do I use? Are there any hubs from other makes/models that will work? With no modifications? I have a 1970 D 100

Driveshaft length w/numbers please
I swapped a '87 318/904 into my '70 LWB. I need the correct driveshaft length. Regular (not long) tailshaft. I measured 68" from shaft end to shaft end (not yoke), but I might have been generous. I'm finding later model truck driveshafts LWB with 66" ones, will that length work? I will need the corr...

Hobcobble, do you have any pics of the drivers side? I'm running into problems with the motor wanting to sit sideways. Anyone have any ideas? I know one is off from the other.

Re: Switching to halogen bulbs in rear tailights.
The socket on one light was way loose so I soldered it in place. I took some heavy wire and ran it off each tailight and screwed it directly on the frame, problem solved! They are very bright now. The ground problem was causing so many other issues. I had my shifter light coming on with the brake li...

Re: Lockup torque converter switch. 1977-78
Sorry, the truck and all vehicles I mentioned here were dodge trucks. All the parts were off a Dodge truck and/or a sweptline so I thought this would be the best place. I posted some on slantsix.org and I think I have the info I need. Again, I didn't mean to post a irrelevant thread. I will be more ...

Do I just hook up the switch to a manual toggle or something? It only has 2 wires. I looked it up (thanks for the link slantsix.org) its a 79' 727 long tailshaft.

Re: Switching to halogen bulbs in rear tailights.
How do I attach ground wires to the bulb socket. Do I solder a wire to them or screw a wire in with the mounting screw? When I hook up my tag light which circuit do I cut into. And now I have the turn signals both flashing at the same time. The one thats supposed to be flashing is stronger but the o...

Lockup torque converter switch. 1977-78
I have a trans on my slant6 from what I believe is a 77-78 1/2 ton 2wd long bed Dodge truck. The parts truck was crushed so no way of confirming. I have a round 3 hole/2 wire, plug that came off the trans on the drivers side. I was told and I checked the part #s and I got that it was a lockup torque...
