I am currently rebuilding an LU2.my intent is to drill the aluminum casing for grease fittings so that I can keep the handle shaft greased. hopefully prevent the bond between the aluminum and steel :thinking

is the 440 a passenger car engine, or HP version?? anyone parting out a 69 and later power wagon? i need a steering knuckle for my 69 w200, drivers side. also need the knuckle arm that ataches on top and goes to the drag link, with shims. the bearing (king) pin broke off and all the studs striped and pulled out.

i just got some seats for the valiant. used but in very nice shape. has anybody tried a vinyl paint or dye to change the the color? they are gold now, i need them blue, thanks

if it is an original truck motor, its a 225. rated at 145hp and 195 ft/lbs of torque
visualy, if the bypass hose for the head is about 3 inches it as a tall block(225 or 198). if the hose is about 1 inch it is a 170.
as far as i know, they only put the 225 in trucks.

anybody know if the front drums and hubs will interchange between a 65 W200 and a 69 W200? i have a set of drums and spindle hubs(not the locking hubs) from a 65, i need to do front barkes on the 69, can i turn the 65 drums and put them on the 69?

gotta double check the numbers, shows the -2 as being a 4.88 open, knowing that the rear is a 4.10 powr-lok, ill bet its a -3, 4.09 powr-lok :clap

the front is a dana 44 not a 60. and all that data is from after 1977. there is a 60 3017 which is a dana 70. there is a single digit after that which tells you which diff you have. i was hoping someone had that chart. i have seen it but cant fint it. :banghead

dana build numbers

im looking for the info for dana axle bom (bill of materials) numbers. the numbers on the axle tube on the rear are 60 3016 3, i know this a sure grip dana 60. the front has 60 3014 2. anybody know if this is a sure grip?

that spring is internal, you wont be able to see it with the carb assembled, it is part of the pump when you buy the kit. all that external arm does is allow the spring to work, as the arm moves away from the stop on the plunger, the spring takes over and pumps a controled amount of fuel into the ca...
