Glad this truck went to someone who truly needs it!
It should get you in and out of your place come bad weather.
I wish the next truck is as good as this one.
All the best, Jay

Robin, I used PPG on the inside of the truck with good results. Didn't check prices VS SW.

Re: Turn signal switch replacement
Proper grounding is key to having your lights work correctly. They have some paint and yearsof dust and dirt on them, so take the light buckets out and use wire brush to clean behind the screws and on the frame so the contact is better.

Re: rocker and floor panels
I used the ones fron auto bodyspecialities and had to some adjusting with a BFH and some cutting. But they went in ok. Just make sure you leave enough of the old floor to weld to. Part of mine was so thin I had to use epoxy on some seams.

Re: sandblast, or aircraft remover?
Sometimes it helps to put the stripper on and while it is still wet putheavy plastic over the top of the stripper! This helps the stripper penerate thru the severallayers of paint and primer! I have done this befor and it really helps. Aircraft stripper has worked well for me in the past.

powerwagon drive shaft
Work on the 70 Powerwagon is progressing nicely! Took it out around the block the other day and the front drive shaft was spinning?? Hubs were in the free position with the transfer case in 2 high. Is this normal or is the transfer case engaged in another gear than 2 high? Did shift it thru several ...

Re: Brakes locking up???
All sounds like good advice. I also think disconnecting the braks lines and putting some air thru the lines, checking to see if there is a blockage or dirt in the lines. Have to try everything. Drilling the holes in the master? After spending $85.00 I'd hate to screw up the part and have to get anot...

Brakes locking up???
This problem isn't on my Sweptline.... However it is a Dodge product. I have replaced everything on each wheel. Everything new shoes, springs, wheel cylinders, master cylinder with new, not rebuilt, even the vacume booster! The problem is after a short drive of maybe 3-5 miles the brakes are fully a...

Re: replacing box corners
You might try to find a box that has agood back section and plasma cut off the back part. I was going to do this on a '70 got the part but sold the truck befor I got it welded into place. Now I have the rear section sitting out back. Yours if you want for $200 plus shiping.

It works! Pulled themaster cykinder one more time. After a year of messing around the go fast mobile has stoping power! Now my next question who can d...
