I sold my trucks
I came to the realization I was never going to get a shop built to restore my trucks. The two people who were to help me both passed away in the last few years and I got married. Priorities have changed and I just wasn't feeling up to the challenge anymore. Both my 67's went to a fellow Swept-a-holi...

Re: Drivers door won't open!
Already tried the boot and prying it b4 I posted. I am going to loosen the hinge to at least give me some play and see if something will come unstuck. Been to busy to mess with it more than a few minutes at a time. At least I had just got the passenger door unstuck when the drivers door screwed up. ...

Drivers door won't open!
It was working smoothly until I went to close it yesterday. It almost seems as if the star wheel is stuck. The door won't close all the way, nor will it open! I reached in and all the rods are connected and move the levers on the mechanism (the lock one seems to be sticky) but I cannot get the door ...

Peened crank?
Hi all, I am selling my 71 /6 d100 on Craigslist and someone wrote that it has a peened crank. What does that mean? How would he know? Does it make it worth more?

Re: Visited the Junkyard
What kind of yard is it? At my Pull a part, it would probably be $150-200 for all of it. At the robber yard, they would want $100 for each item. How bad do YOU want them and how much you willing to pay? ![Two Cents :2cents](./images/smilies/icon_2cents.gif)

Re: Sunbust Mopar show
Well it was a great show as usual! Ran into 66crewcab when I overheard a conversation about a purple Sweptline and introduced myself. Got a fair amount of pics before my camera decided to die for good :censored There were only two Swepties at the show this year, but there was a sweptside also-one of...

I am getting ready to head out to it after a shower and making sure the camera batteries are good! I will get some pics posted this weekend. I will not be taking Whitey, as I just got Mone...

Re: 69 Dodge
Check your ground connections! Clean them up good or add some new ones from the taillamp bucket to the frame. A new one from the frame to the block will benefit the current path also. Good luck.

heres a stupid question or 2
My book says to use gasket sealer on the 318 intake but not to use it on the 360. Does anyone know why this is? Should I use sealer on my 360 intake or not? I'm talking about the side gaskets. I have a set of felpro replacements that are just the comp style and didn't come with metal ones like the m...

Re: Intake manifold gasket replacement questions
What engine are you running? I am in the process of redoing a 360, and some stuff I've been reading says to get rid of the end gaskets and lay down a good bead of hi temp RTV. I have a question though. The intake gaskets in my master kit had the metal backer plates. I picked up a Felpro intake gaske...

My last trip to NAPA
Well I decided to break down and get the wiper conversion for my D200. I get the part number from the site and go to my local NAPA (which turns out to be a franchise. I give the counter guy the number, he gets on his computer and says.... I don't have it, can't get it, and they must not make it anym...

Re: any differences in the 66 and 67
My 67 has a dash pad and what looks like a plate where the ashtray was on top in earlier models. My ashtray is under the dash on the CS and deleted or removed in the PW. It looks like it is held on with two bolts. FWIW
