Has anyone made the modifications outlined in the article Conrad cites? If so, are you happy?

New Power Steering Box Available?

I have read most of the the very, very, very long thread on how CPP took a stab at configuring a new power steering box for Swepties. My take away is that no-one has designed and produced a workable system yet. Am I correct? Or, have some of you bought a CPP (or other) box with which you are happy?

Removing and Installing Rebuilt Master and Slave

Mr. John Geidl is in the process of rebuilding the master and slave cylinders for my 1963 D300. My nickname is Cleanfingernails and although I am proficient at signing checks I rely on my mechanic to get things done. I have had great success in asking questions in this forum to help make sure my mec...

Steering Box Conundrum

My 1963 D300 is a top-heavy rig with a caveman camper on top. The steering, after a bumpy ride down a washboardy river road, became extremely loose. I could move the steering wheel about 6 inches before the tires would move. The steering box had previously been rebuilt by the associates from Vintage...

Headlight Switch/Dash Gauge Light

I have some type of short in my dash gauge light. When I pull out the "L" knob, the headlights come on, but the gauge light has a mind of its own. If I wiggle the "L" knob the gauge light sometimes comes on, but not always. Do any of you electrical wizards out there have a recommendation on: 1. What...

Re: how much should I ask for this truck

Looks awesome. The mirrors, to me, scream: "I'M NOT STOCK." As the rest of the truck demonstrates, the devil is in the details.

Your truck is awesome and I particularly like the tires and rims: elegant, simple and vintage.

I really like the white wheel wells, white roof and white bumper. Less white and its not enough; more white and its too much.

So just where are we on the road to our demise? How many miles left? 1? 1,000? A million? Throughout the history of humans some have predicted our imminent downfall. They have been wrong.
