Re: New Wiring Harness?
Personally, I don't like any after-market rewiring kits. There always seem to be issues. My wiring harness was in OK shape when started. What I did was to clean it up as best I could, identify the sections that had to be replaced, and then contacted Narragansett wiring for those components. They are...

Photos of the Mighty Dodge
Hey everyone! Been gone a while but I got a digital camera for Christmas and wanted to show some photos of my truck finally. Still need to get the bed on but the shop is almost finish with it so hopefully I'll be showing off photos of a complete 100% restored 1968 D-100 Sweptline soon. By the way - ...

Bed Ends
The bed for my '68 is going down to the body shop next week to be finished up. Been able to find everything I need except for the ends of the bed; the housings that contains the tail light and reverse lights. I don't know what they are called, bed caps? Does anyone know where to find replacement pan...

You may have another issue, although this one may take a while longer to fix. I've seen this happen a few times. I f you have a bad ground it may be causing an overload in your electrical system that is causing an internal breaker in your battery to trigger. The last example I saw was when a mustang...

This would be a lot easier if I bought a digital camera so I could post pictures! Mine sits way higher than that. Fit fine before I had it re-cored but now it stands 4.5" higher the top bracket for the radiator cover. Really starting to thing that the radiator shop put the brackets back on incorrect...

Wait a second! I just looked at the pictures of that 64 D-100 for sale on ebay. I looked at the radiator and it looked like the brackets on the side of the radiator faced towards the engine. I had my radiator re-cored and just looked at my brackets. The brackets on the radiator are in the shape of a...

See, this is why I believe I've put something together wrong. I've gotten the radiator out of the way so the hood can close all the way down to where it's touching the fenders. However, even holding it all the way down it can barely latch with the hood striker on the valance adjusted all the way to ...

One more thing to mention: I took the radiator cap off and was able to close the hood all the way down to the hood bumpers on the front of the fenders. I decided to unbolt the hood striker from the front of the valance and snap it into the hood latch as though the hood was closed and latched. Then I...

Radiator Question
Have a question for y'all out there. The radiator I currently have in my 1968 D-100, slant 6, is part number 2235126. I have no idea what it came out of. It originally went in after I bought my truck when I was 14 years old. The radiator that had been in my truck came out of a Nissan (or something e...

Yeah, my brake light stays on too, which is why I started sniffing around. I have the same hole in the structure for the spring to attach to, but cannot figure out how the spring would attach to the pedal. It just didn't seem to make sense that spring would just slide over the top of the pedal with ...
