Hood latch pics please, how does it attach
Can anyone shoot me a pic of the underside of the hood where the latch attaches?
I need to know how to orientate the latch to put it back on the hood.
this is the closest old photo i have and it doesn't tell me anything

Re: Top of fender bolts, need help
Great thanks for your reply Jim.
I do have your CD too, I just remembered, that's one good thing about your CD...
My computer maybe pooched but the CD still lives on!
Getting excited to hang the fenders this weekend!

Top of fender bolts, need help
I need a little help since my hard drive crashed and I lost all my pictures of disassembling my truck.... The top three holes on the fender (fender's upside down of course) do the bolts use regular nuts? or do they use the nut clips like the other holes in this fender use? Also any pictures of this ...

I'd use seam sealer too. If you do end up using it make sure you get urethane seam sealer. It's not suppose to shrink and crack like traditional seam seal can eventually.

Re: New bed wood
Hardcase, One more question, I'm mocking up my ute bed. I've been looking at member's photo's and almost figured out how the ute bed goes together (my hard drive died on me and i've lost all disassembly photos). The 2 bolts that bolt the bed to the frame that are closest the tailgate. Those do not g...

Nice! What wheel base is that Ute?
How did the pre drilled bed mount holes line up? Did they counter sink the wood for the washers too or did you do that?

Re: Speedo help
That was a looong time ago. Almost embarrassing to read my post now.
I really had no clue about restoring trucks then (still need to learn more). If I remember correctly I just had to clean the gunk around it and realized it just threaded off.

Utiline bed cross members
I'm just mocking up my 6' utiline bed right now (in my basement heehee) and I have no idea where the cross members go and how many are there, and which ones go where. Can any one help me? Pics would be great too.
Thanks in advance

Re: Seam Sealer
Make sure you use urethane seam sealer, it doesn't shrink and crack over time like the standard stuff will eventually. Just a couple thin coats. Do a small bead and the tip of your finger should fit perfect in the drip rail and run your finger in there. Then the next day or so put another thin coat ...

Re: Fuel tank relocaton
Hairybikini, I've been eyeing up using a mustang tank when the time comes Did you have to move any crossmembers to fit that in? How big is the tank (gals)? I'm not sure if I'll have the fill going through the wood floor or flip down license plate. Which way are you going? and Do you see it possible ...

Sun visor bracket removal
I searched the threads and couldn't find anything what I was specifically asking for....
I removed the sun visors from my donor cab late last night and I didn't find an easy way to get the bracket of the visor shaft itself.
Is there any tricks I don't know about?
Thanks

Ugh this sucks!
It looks like they're held on by one spot weld, should be fun.
Can anyone tell me how the 'custom cab' trim on the dash is attached?

Drip Rail Trim issues
Ok I'm in a bit of a pickle and I don't think this has been covered yet..... I have a '67 custom cab with the stainless drip rail trim and my donor cab isn't a custom cab. Unfortunately the donor cab is already painted and on the frame. I want to put the drip rail trim before I put the windshield on...
