Re: 1966 D100 trans shifter cable
Or a fender washer with a smaller hole that can be bored to correct size and ground down if OD is too larger. Good suggestion Bucky and no matter what, get creative with fabing something. Pretend you're on Apollo 13 or with Shackleton

Re: 71 D100 NP435 to NP445 swap
4th gear is the same in both 435 and 445 so RPMs will be no different. Yes. I am assuming the reason for the transmission swap is to lower engine RPM in the other three gears or make low gear more useful. The rear end gear ratio change will lower the engine RPM all across the board. That is why I s...

Re: 71 D100 NP435 to NP445 swap
Swapping to that axle ratio and installing the close ratio 445 you will likely be lugging the hell out of that 6 banger.
What engine was the 445 behind that your found? Every 445 I own, have owned, or have seen was behind a 383 with a 4:10 axle.
Will be interesting to see how that works out for you.

Re: 1966 d100/w100 wiring diagram
I've been digging through there and they don't have a sweptline or d100 listed. Shoot even using keyword truck didn't bring up anything. What's the best fsm to purchase? I appreciate your advice. Edit. After searching just through the site and digging around ive found the d100! I have several of th...

Buy a 66 FSM from Bishko. It has all the wiring diagrams as well as everything else for your specific truck.

Yes, wedges will adjust caster.
You will likely need a master and/or proportioning valve for disk brakes.

Re: Exhaust manifold washers
Ok thanks, I have a row of bolts on the top and studs on the bottom.no washers on any, thinking of adding them. One of the bolt hole tabs was broken off the exhaust manifold, any thoughts on welding it back on? Never seen that many studs on a poly. Usually only 1 on each end. Broken tab on the cast ...

All the specs to drill a 318 flywheel to make it balance a 360 are available at the various links in the google search I posted above.
Don't waste bandwidth posting their bullshit saying it can't be done.

Re: Poly 318 to 360
Ive seen diagrams in years past on how to do it, probably on here. It requires drilling some big holes to a certain depth at specific points on the flywheel. Keep searching/looking and asking machine shops. If they tell you it can't be done, just let them know they're wrong and need more training so...

Re: 67 d100 383/727 Radiator size?
How did the hose miss the oil filter on it? That question is way too vague. You didn't even specify which truck or radiator-engine combination you mean. An answer would require me to make considerable measurements in 3D to determine. I don't have the '67 D200 to measure. All I have is the '68 W200 ...

Re: 67 d100 383/727 Radiator size?
Tnx to Wildergarten for the pics!
Yes, his bottom port sweeps left, so a 22" core works. It also has the auto trans cooling ports. Good luck finding one of those! Better to find a real radiator shop and have something made. Soldering in a different outlet is a basic task. If Bud has one, just buy it!

Re: 67 d100 383/727 Radiator size?
Why wouldn't Brikar's 1969 radiator work in Burnout67's 1967 truck? Is there some reason or obstruction preventing the use of a 26" radiator in place of the 22"? If it would fit then wouldn't Brikar's radiator number be all that was needed to find a proper fitting radiator, even if it is not numeri...
