Hello Group,
I am wanting to change the door handles(maybe complete doors) on my "62,i have read on this website that the sheetmetal and latch need to be replaced on the cab,I was hoping someone could tell me why i cant just replace the latch?

I wish i could say the oil on driveway was from an "off brand".

got some new tires for the rear a few weeks ago,so i thought i better put in the 8 3/4 sure grip before i end up with one bald tire.time also to take care of some rust.should be ready to cruise in a few weeks.

congrats on your first 4x4,,,,,,I had a 53 cj3b with the 134 'F" head,(intake valves in the head exhaust valves in the block)
that thing never gave a lick of trouble,i never had a title so it was off road only,

its pretty squirrely,front is stock Lebaron,rear is 3/4 ton springs minus a couple of leaves,I will mainly use it on flat land,still need to try it in the dunes.

The easiest way to find TDC is to put the timing mark on pulley at 0 degrees,then pull dist. cap,if rotor is pointing to #1 terminal your good,if not,turn crank 360 degrees.

yes,the head rests are removable,it is an '84 chassis,so i did not need the original behind the seat tank.

Rodger,since the body of the truck is sitting on an '84 chassis,i stayed with the '84 bumper.
