Thanks Mark. The electric fuel pump was wired simply to keyed 12v and ground. It was also a simple pump for carbs, it doesn't produce much more than 7psi. It's fixed, I just didn't align it right before bolting it in, it was binding. Thanks for all of your help.

So, I took the starter out, (it came out much easier, so at least I got a system now) and bench tested it. I know, I should have done that first, but it works perfect on the bench.

I was afraid that was the answer.

I just bought a rebuilt mini starter for my 69 D-100. After installing it, the new one spins away but doesn't do anything to start the truck.
Anybody have any advice before I pull it out? It was much tougher to install than I thought it would be.
