Re: Spicer yoke PNs for drivetrain
I think the Tcase yoke PN is 3-4-2271-1. It is a 1.375-10 spline dia. yoke hub that seal rides on is 2 125 and the spline length is 2.00. This PN matches up with another discussion I found doing a search on this forum. I measured a spare yoke I have for my M37, that matched these dims, but I need to...

Re: Spicer yoke PNs for drivetrain
Thank you for the reply. Using a spicer catalog I think I got the correct pn figured out for the tcase. I'm going to order one and see if it works.

Re: taper won't replace bronze in Dana 44
If I followed this thread correctly, u have/had the bronze taper bushings on the upper knuckle of the passenger side as well? I have a 68 W200 and only had the bronze bushing on upper drivers side. I have never seen or heard of the passenger side having the upper bronze bushing on the small knuckle ...

Re: 1968 W-200 Wiper arms
On my 68, I found that wiper springs from a 60 to 65 falcon worked. The pn I have is F3E77-02-01 or 64-11866. I had to slightly shorten the end of the spring but it has worked for over a year with no issue.
Good luck

Re: W100 / W200 Tie Rod End
Good to hear. After reading ur post I went to my spare pile and measured 3 tie rods I have for the large knuckle and sure enough all of them were 3/4 dia as well. Sounds like u have standard 3500lb dana 44 axle tie rods. Let us know if the new ones u ordered do work.

Re: Engine turns over, but wont start
I didnt see you mentioned this but the first thing I would do is check for spark. My guess is u r not getting spark. If u r getting spark then I would verify it is timed correctly. Good luck

Re: Clutch slave rubber hose
Main line directly bolted right into the slave cylinder. It also had a loop in it on passenger side before it went straight down to the slave whereas the line I have in there now has no loop but the hose.

Re: Clutch slave rubber hose
That's interesting as my 1968 w200 that I've had since 1982 didn't have that hose. However about 10 years ago I swapped out that line from an older dodge truck that did have that hose so mine currently has it I just assumed the early model had it and the later ones didn't.

Re: NP 435 help
U also might be able to find a 1" dia input shaft and swap it out. U would have to know whether u have the close ratio or wide space ratio tranny to get the correct input shaft. I did something similar in my 68 w200, when I regear my tranny from close ratios to wide space. I used early 70s dodge tru...

Re: Engine Intermittently shuts off
In my case my issue was the ballast resistor. I replaced it back in March and have not experience any issues since. In fact my truck seems to be running better than before.

Back glass gasket
I have a 1968 w200 with the large back glass and was wondering who is the preferred vendor for the gasket. I know Steele rubber and restoration specialties are two companies that supply the gasket. Is one brand better than the other? Appreciate any advice regarding the gasket and brands. Thanks Mike M

Re: Engine Intermittently shuts off
Wanted to follow with this issue. I replaced my 4 prong ballast and to my surprised, for now, that seemed to take care of the issue. Not sure why the ballast took care of it, but perhaps someone can explain. I'm still skeptical, but ever since I replaced it, I have had no issues so far. Thanks for a...

Re: wiper motor gasket
Thanks for the replies. Does the complete wiper linkage/assy need to be removed in order to remove the wiper motor? I was thinking the linkage only had to be removed from the motor for it to come out.

wiper motor gasket
Hi, I have a small leak inside my cab coming through where the wiper motor attaches to the fire wall. How hard is it to remove the wiper motor from the truck and what is the best way to seal it to the fire wall? I bought the gasket, but it's just a piece of open cell foam that seems susceptible to a...
