Update on 1958 FARGO SWEPTSIDE!!!

Post by bean »

Made some progress on my hunt for the rare Fargo Sweptside I ran across the other day. I now know the EXACT location of the truck... right down to a pencil drawn map of the yard. Also found out that the Hemi 68 Superbee near is IS NOT real... but does sport a real Origional 426 HEMI... hmm... can you fit a Hemi in a sweptside?? LOL Im kidding... althought that would look really wicked with some Cragars SS's! :joker But more on the truc...it still boots its origional V8.. a 315 I believe... and also the floors are shot as well as the fenders an hood.... but all that swaps from conventional 58's i believe.... Anyone got an idea as to the value of this truck if restored?

Oh... and MORE PICS!!! Tried to adjust some of the sizes but it didnt work too well.

Important is what kind of shape are the sweptside panels and other unique parts?

Well according to the person who took the pictures, other than the floors and front sheetmetal the truck is solid as a rock. And they even said said the floors werent even THAT bad.
