Jim Megee's DODGE SWEPTLINE RESTORATION CD!!

Post by Jims68 »

I am selling a "Dodge Truck Restoration CD" (No longer offered as a CD, but a digital download). This, is not a Factory Service Manual, but more of a restoration "guide". The download is over 600 MEGS of information. This digital download has a lot of information on it pertaining to the Dodge Sweptline Trucks. It has over 800 pictures of "How I did my restoration". These include photos of rust repair, body work, welding panels, etc. It is for all Sweptline enthusiasts. If your truck is restored, a beater, or a project in progress, then you may want to consider this option. Here are a couple of "Testimonies": (Names withheld)

1. Got my CD yesterday (Nov. 19) and it's great. It's like starting on a good book, I got started looking at the pics and couldn't stop until I had seen almost all of them. If you are working on a Sweptline you want this cd. Jim, I'm not sure how you had time to take that many pictures and still get the truck done.

2. Hi Jim,
I received your CD yesterday and read through it last night. I have to say that you did a great job with it. It is well written and is a great tool for somebody contemplating repairs like this.

3. What a cool CD, first, if you haven't ordered one, and consider yourself a sweptline enthusiast, you better get one. i have spent 2 nights, and about 3.5 hours on it, and so far, haven't seen everything on the cd. if you ever wondered, "whats behind that panel?" jims cd will show you. seems like the man cut everyone of them off at one time or another i didn't need the help on my truck this cd could provide someone. i ordered it just to support his project, and cause i wanted it. no regrets here at all this is one of those "must haves" for any Sweptline fan. really makes you appreciate the work that goes into some of these trucks.

These are just a few of the ones I saved. No personal information is shared with anyone! SEE BELOW FOR SHIPPING INFORMATION. For USA Residents, I accept checks, Money Orders, and PayPal. Foreign orders are Paypal ONLY.

For any questions or more testimonies, contact me at:

Been looking at your CD for about a week now and am just amazed at the information it contains. Will definately make a differance on the restoration of my 68 W300. Well worth the money.

It is obvious Jim is a skilled craftsman, but even I enjoyed just seeing it done the right way and I can't even put a fender on straight...Goldie

Got the CD on Monday. Just pulled myself away from it long enough to go to work and post this message. I have not done much sheet metal work and Jim has detailed the tools used in his restoration as well as some tips when restoring your own. This CD is money well spent. Thanks Jim. :clap

I received my CD yesterday.

Oh my Gosh!

Over 600 MB of before and after pictures :study , some short videos (the music playing showing you driving back and forth in the finished product was priceless! *honk* *honk*), commentary, detailed instructions, notes and diagrams. :Thumbsup

There's even some good HUMOR thrown in for good measure!

I would have to say this may prove to be the best $20 I've invested in my truck.

Thanks Jim. :salut

Folks, if you want some real insight into restoration of your sweptline (or just want to fix a few things), get your $20 to Jim ASAP. You won't regret it.

Jim:
I received the CD today and it's great. It really answered a lot of questions that I had about the body work. The CD will be a great help while I'm restoring my 70 sweptline. You did a great job.

OH MY GAWD!

Yes mine was in the mail yesterday.

I started doing more yesterday as I haven't been to active because of my knee operation. I came home dog tired and covered in grease and dirt (yes I over did it!). I found Jims CD in the mail and I rushed to the shower and cleaned up. As tired as I was I should have went to bed but I popped the CD in at 8:00 pm. I turned off the computor at 1:37 am!

Thanks Jim! That was the best sleep depervation I've had in a long time.

And to think... that type of sleep deprivation is legal in all 50 states!

Thanks Doug, I will let you know as soon as I get it. It should be a big help to you with your floor and rockers. When I did my truck, I wasn't planning on a resto... just a "fix 'er up" and well... as you will see in the CD, it did not turn out that way.
