My buddy seats are finished. I have a few questions.
1) Do I bolt seats to the frame and install together or what’s the procedure?
2) Is there a liner of some type in the buddy box or just painted? It looked like something was glued into it at one point.
3) Anything else I need to know?
Thanks and I’ll post pix when I’m done. Craig

Re: Buddy Buckets Install
No liner in the many Ive had. Seems like I always pulled them out of the truck assembled. Ought to be easier than diving underneath them in the truck.

Re: Buddy Buckets Install
I installed the frame with center attached. Then I installed the buckets. Much easier for an old Fart working by himself.

Re: Buddy Buckets Install
I got the seats installed tonight. Too late to get pictures but, I’ll update my build thread. I put the frame in first and I’m glad I did. I had to adjust the buckets and the frame a couple times to get it where I wanted it. One obvious thing is the buckets are higher than the bench. Maybe it’s because the buckets are from a 71 and the truck is a 64. Could be be new seat foam. IDK but, I still have about 4-5 inches to the roof at 5-8. A taller person might have trouble. Anyone else have this issue. Craig

Re: Buddy Buckets Install
Floors are exactly the same all years so that won't be the cause of a height diff.
At 5-8, now u don't need a booster seat? (sorry...devil made me do it)
