Glad this was available.

I have some bad news regarding the calendars. Apparently they’re going out with 2020 dates. I’m looking into what can be done on my end. If Lulu press won’t provide refunds I can refund the $6 profit I make on each calendar for each calendar you purchased. Email me your invoice and PayPal account. If Lulu won’t take them back and you want to salvage them here’s a patch to cover up the 2020 dates with 2021 dates.

This error is likely my fault and like everyone I’m barely getting by but I will do what I can to make amends by refunding my profits to you if Lulu won’t help us out.

Ben, its not clear what the problem is. Which "2021" dates are printed 2020? Are the dates each month on the proper day of the week for 2021?

The calendar that I set up for 2021 is apparently being shipped with 2020 dates.

Everything about the calendar is 2020. The days of the week, the labels at the top, etc.

2020 just kills everything.

I guess you took the ad down off lulu? Link doesn't work now, but it was definitely advertised as 2021 with no options for changing the dates. Don't see how this is your error. Also, I didn't see a preview option to view the pages before ordering, so no way to verify what was being offered .

Yeah. I determined the titles and content. When I set up the calendar portion it’s basically a drop down and check box for the year and months and it defaulted to 2020 which is stupid. Every time I’d revise the calendar it’d default back to 2020 when I’m reasonably sure I had it set to 2021.

I’m pretty upset over this and I will likely not do another calendar anymore. Most everyone is being really nice about it and I’m doing my best to make it right for those who feel wronged by me.

I temporarily took down the page and see what Lulu can do to make this work

Terry,

i called Lulu and long story short in our investigation it is an error on my part but they share some culpability and are willing to work with us on a case by case basis.

please contact them via email or phone to discuss a remedy that will work for you.

if they don't make it right i will buy you a calendar with the correct dates and ship it to you.

"defaulting", yes, that is one of the stupidist features to place in a program in many situations! I've seen it cause this type of problem many times. ALL THEIR FAULT, NONE YOURS!
As for "da faulted" calendar, I think that's a fitting way to end the calendar run, being 2020 and all....can't wait to hang it on the wall and flip off lulu every time I look at it :)
Many TNX Ben for all the effort to continue publishing the calendars for all these yrs after Trey started them back in the day.

thanks Terry - i dont blame them fully as i do feel i share some of the blame. when i exported the files i should have caught it in the proof. i think i was frustrated and totally missed it. either way they said they will handle things on a case by case basis. i have two "customers" who are pretty upset and want a proper remedy. i asked them to let me know how Lulu will handle it.

if Lulu gets pretty nasty about it i will do my best to refund them out of pocket and not use Lulu again. i don't want to give up on this as i really enjoy putting it together and i absolutely love the collages in this year's layouts.

it is a waiting game now.

i'll send you an email - i'm looking for a plastic version of the brass float for the tank. think that's be something you have?

Could you remake another calendar quickly using the same photos for the year 2021? I'm still interested in ordering a couple if it can be fixed.

So the "limited" production of the "error" calendars will make them scarce and highly sought after by those who want a full set of all yrs :)
