New guy from South Africa checking in!
New guy from South Africa checking in!
Thank you for the admittance!
I'm Ters (or Mr. T) as some of my customers call me.... Me and my 22 year old son own a Mopar only repair shop in Pretoria, T's Classic Clinic. Working on Valiant's daily, selling new and used parts. Engine, Gearbox, Suspension and Electrical work mostly...although we do swallow our pride from time to time and work on Chevy and Ford too...
We own a '69 d and '76....The bummer (for USA) guys is all our vehicles are right hand drive. Both /6 3-speed floor shift trucks. The '76 we bought as a disc brake donor for the '69 sight unseen...someone beat us to it, drums all round!!
Nonetheless, love 'em!
Ters.
ps. Will post pics soon..

Re: New guy from South Africa checking in!
Was the truck built in South Africa or shipped from the USA? I noticed the bed does not have a swept line line the US trucks do.
Re: New guy from South Africa checking in!
Assembled in South Africa sir...body, suspension and drive train imported, then assembled with unique rhd steering/dash etc. I suspect she was an old Police vehicle with a center door opening in her bin (add canopy?).soopernaut wrote: ↑Sat Jun 01, 2019 1:04 pmWas the truck built in South Africa or shipped from the USA? Ters.
Ps: Permission to post some other right hand drive vehicles in our fleet, all Mopar?
