O.K. Jim... guess it may be a '63 because the signal lenses are Amber in the intro.

I thought I hadn't ever seen the program, but that theme song nudged my memory... guess I'll go ahead and watch the episode.

Thanks!

I just watched an episode of Gomer Pyle and seen a Yellow Long Bed in the back ground. The show was from late '67, so... not sure exactly what year it was, but probably a 67 or 68 as Chrysler sponsored the vehicles in the show. Also, I found this really cool was in the same episode Gomer pulled up next to a parked Black 1968 Road Runner!!!! Had the 5 spoke wheels with Red Line tires too.

I have written about it before, that the reason for my love with Sweptlines (and pie-plates in particular) is because of the tvshow Lassie. I came across this 1966 movie called the Lassie. the voyager on Youtube:
https://youtu.be/ra7aGiIUCos
I have only seen the first 8 minutes so far but they drive around in a D300 flatbed with a canopy. It also goes from beign a quadheadlamp 62-65 in one scene and a pieplate in the next

I hopw this is not posted before. I remembered seeing this movie some years ago on TCM, Zabriskie Point from 1970. It has a short scene with a 62-65 D200 crewcab with a slide-in camper and towing a boat.

BTW, is that boat a Chrysler boat?

I don't know if it's a Chrysler boat, but it has TWO outboard motors on it! WOO HOO!! Water Skiing time!

Looking at the images and INFO on IMDB, it looks like a lousy movie though!

lousy is one word that can describe it, I would call it an acid-trip-movie. The plot is difficult to understand and one gets the impression that they just made it up as they went along

CHiPs episode "Death Watch" from 1979 features a 4 headlight D300. A guy climbs out of a moving car and into the back of the truck. It is shown from 1:19 to 1:40.

CHiPs episode "Vagabonds" features a 67 D200 quite a bit. I can't find many pictures online. There is a video but I'm having playback issues. The truck ends up flipping at the end. I did manage to capture this from the video but the quality is crap.
