Could someone who has done a front disc swap post the correct brake master cylinder part number?
Disc front drum rear and no power brakes.
Thanks,
jim

Re: Brake master
Wouldn't you be better off with power brakes with the discs?
Re: Brake master
I'm sure I would be better off with power brakes. I guess I was thinking of trying it without as its set up now. Is adding power brakes as simple as getting a vacuum booster and sticking it on there?

I used RAYBESTOS MC36307 on my '63 that I just finished my disc conversion on. It is listed as a one year only for a 72 100 series truck, and 70-75 B, C, & E bodies.
The number given above corresponds to RAYBESTOS MC36460 Listed for 73-78 D/W100,200,300, Ramcharger, and 74-78 C-body.
I couldn't tell you what the difference is they both are 4 bolt masters, 1 1/32" bore, Disc/Drum style. Earlier one is listed with 9/16 20, and 1/2 20 outlets. The later one only lists the "Primary outlet" as 9/16 20, and is $4 dollars cheaper on RockAuto.
I'm happy with mine so far (I've only driven it about 2 miles). And didn't have an issue with the rear discs I used either.

Re: Brake master
I can't say exactly on a 61-71 cab, but on the later trucks I had to do some fab work on the push rod. I didn't have access to donor truck for the correct parts.
