What is this truck? What is the range of value?
I have come across what I believe to be a 1966 or 1967 Stepside Dodge PU. It appears to have a V8 and a 4 speed. I think it is a D100. I am attaching a few pics and would like to know anything about it anyone could tell me, especially around value as a project and completed. I really like this truck, just not sure if I should move on it or not. It does not appear to have been moved for a while, not sure if it runs or not. I am just looking for some idea of what this truck is worth in this condition, how rare it is, how desirable it is, and what it might be worth in restored condition. I think I uploaded 4 files to show the truck. I am a new member, so maybe I cannot upload pics yet. Ahhhh, got it figured out, files were too big.

Welcome! If it runs, moves and stops half way decent and the
body is generally in low rust condition [no such thing as rust free...] and the VIN tag
hasn't been "messed with".... I'd say its worth $1750-$2150 ? If
the engine and drive line need the "usual" attention [steering, brakes, tune up, clutch, etc..]
then you can figure on laying out $500-$1200 depending on what it might need. As for
resale value.... "maybe" what you end up investing in it? I'm sure others will
add their comments as well.

It is not a 67 since it has the early door handles. It is a D100. It is probably worth $5000 to a seller and $500 to a buyer.

They are virtually identical between mid 65-66. You would need the VIN (serial number) to determine the year.BartK wrote:What do you think, a 65 or 66??? Yeah, there's nothing like getting it dropped off from the shipper (with a clean title in hand) with a note that the VIN is on the frame, and noticing there's no VIN Tag....

Ok guys, I am buying the truck. I will pay and pick it up Monday and drag it home. My wife is not thrilled, but hey, at least it is not another woman, right???? Here is a link to a short video of this truck.

When you come in the house and your wife ask ( in an angry voice) "where have you been" or your children run away screaming " mommy, mommy there's a man in the house".

It looks to be in pretty good condition, much better than what many here are starting with. You now know what what the value was to the seller.
