Welcome to the site. Not sure but I think the Sweptline series ran into the eighties.

If I could figure out how to attach a pic I would.
The truck is also a stepside 8ft bed.

Re: New member
I couldn't remember where I had seen it so I started looking. I provided a link to the page below. This is what I had seen...
After poor market performance (Dodge only had 6% of the truck market share in 1960) they decided to create an all new truck with a lean toward passenger car styling. The popular "Dart" name was used to promote this new style and the new for 1961, "Dart Sweptline Pick-up" was born. Officially, (in Chrysler Corp. marketing), the Sweptline era pick-ups lasted until 1971. However, Dodge still used the term until 1995 when it was finally replaced by, "Ram."

They need to show proof of that statement. I have NEVER seen the term "sweptline" used by Dodge since 1971. I have owned my 70 W200 since 78 and been to the dealer myriad times thru the 70's 80's and 90's!

It is the name of the wide bed on Dodge trucks which was used much later than the Sweptline Era.PwrWgnDrvr wrote:They need to show proof of that statement. Sweptline era=61-71(73 on medium duty)
Sweptline=wide bed with inside fenders(not sure years used)
See 1st column, second to last line in 1978 brochure:

Re: New member
It looks pretty nice. It has a long Utiline bed which you don't see too often. You are right about not having a sweptline.

Re: New member
That looks like quite a nice D200 Utiline.
Put up some more pics when you get the truck all
cleaned up and fluids changed.
