scotts ifs
scotts ifs
Just got a scotts hot rods ifs i need to get started on. I've had the suspension out for awhile but if i remember right the brakeline hole in the frame was the centerline of the old axel? The reason i ask is the specs call for a 122" wheelbase but when i transfer the center of the rear axel to the ground with a laser and measure 122" to transfer to the front to get my centerline it seems to be about 1" forward of that hole. Could it just be because i dont have the rear suspension loaded? Bed is off right now. If anyone with a stock front could look i would be very grateful... its a 63 sweptline
Re: scotts ifs
I have a '64 114 WB. The brake line hole appears to be dead center above the front solid axle.
'64 Utiline CSS "Snowflake" 440-727
Thank you Terry!

I'm considering this myself. Do you have any pictures of the progress?

Just getting started but this is where it's at...Going to look into either an 8.8" or 9" with a 4 link on the rear to level it out once I'm done.
