Trucks out and about
Trucks out and about
Hey All,
Went on a fishing trip with friends and found some cool trucks at the same time. I love the eyebrows over the headlights of the 59-60 trucks. But who wouldn't love to make a car hauler out of the D600? By the way these are in northern Washington.
Talk at you all later,
Jimharold

Re: Trucks out and about
I love those `59s, mine has the left rear fender with no notch for the spare. Surprised they made two different fenders that year just for the spare option.

Those fenders were the same from the 50's - 80's. Notched were not needed on the longer ute beds.

Was there ever a passenger's side uteline fender that was notched?

That answers that. Does that truck have both notched?

Was probably made for use with RH steered trucks.
Note that all frames are punched and formed for the steering gear to be mounted on either side.

There isn't a very clear picture, but it appears to have only the passenger side notched.712edf wrote:That answers that. Does that truck have both notched?

Re: Trucks out and about
I guess what I was wondering is:
Most that have fender notches I believe are on the driver's side. Then there are those like the one pictured that have a notched fender on passenger's side.
Do any beds exist where BOTH are notched?

68 d300 dump/plow truck I spotted here in central wa, the plow is in the dump bed. I want it but haven't had the time to track down the owner of the property that it's sitting on to enquire
