1 ton brake shop

Post by SoleSurvivor »

HI folks,
My brakes need a total rebuild. Can someone recommend a brake shop that works on these 1 ton military brakes in the Los Angeles area? I am probably going to have the axle seals done at the same time. The truck has Dana 70s.

you need to go to one of those heavy duty truck repair places,
they'll probably be familiar with the big brakes on your truck
although it will seem light to them !

there's a place near me that specifically does only brakes for the big rigs,
and they always get a kick out of my old sweptline when i bring it by..
but i'm on the east coast

Keep in mind the 67-69 Jeep M715 also used a Dana 70 rear and possibly shared many parts.
