West Coast Mirrors
West Coast Mirrors
My truck had these mirrors on them at some point and I've been searching for a couple months to
find a decent set. Only problem, as I'm sure you all know, is Ebay is flooded with the Ford ones but
not much out there for Dodge. Finally found this set from NAPA after finding a thread on a Corvair
Van site. They're pretty much exactly what I've been looking for but a little pricey, about $200 for
the pair. Link below is the thread I found them on and the NAPA website. If I buy these I plan to modify
them like they guy did in the thread so they don't stick out as far, I'd like them tucked in a little more
since I won't be towing any trailers.

I also found a set locally on CL. They are the stubby version which I think could look cool. I'd just need to
modify the lower bar to add a couple of inches so they'd line up with the existing holes on my truck. I can
get these for $80. Can't say I've seen many like this out there so I just might jump on these instead. Pics below.
Feel free to give me your opinions.

Re: West Coast Mirrors
Mine has similar holes but I can't find evidence that they were ever mounted. people love the small mirrors like your driver side but I know they can be hard to see out of.

I do like the stock mirror too. Glass needs to be fixed though as I can see right through it, no reflection.wally426ci wrote:Mine has similar holes but I can't find evidence that they were ever mounted. people love the small mirrors like your driver side but I know they can be hard to see out of.
I'd prefer the look of the one there now with new glass over a new mirror but it doesn't look replaceable.

I like those a lot but the bottom holes on my door are above the custom badge at the base
of the butterfly window.Wish I had a photo of what used to be there, they must have
been just a little smaller than your set.
I'm also thinking of just filling the holes with some painted screw heads and keep searching
for an original passenger side stem and mirror. Just don't want to pay the price I see them
listed for lol

Re: West Coast Mirrors
I had glass replaced in one of mine. I had a glass shop do it and it's still ok. I think they cut it slightly elliptical and slid it in and it stayed put.
I support you either way, but here might be the answer to your wish:

i have one of those on my truck.. works well.
pics are from the test fit which is why the screws aren't all the way in..
had these when i got it but the glass was toast and they were loose as hell. the biggest thing i didn't like was the huge blind spot they caused..

You could go this route, if you don't need the West Coast style.

they fit good.. had to slightly open one hole to get them to fit the stock holes on the drivers door but no big deal.. have yet to put the passenger side on yet. been too lazy..
to order you have to join that site and contact the guy selling them.. guy was real easy to deal with and got my parts pretty fast..
