Nickel plated copper brake lines
Anyone using the nickel plated copper brake lines. I bought a roll to try out , sure does bend easy. I wonder how good they hold up over time.

I don't think copper line, regardless of what it is coated with, is even legal to use as brakelines.

i used copper-nickel (CuNi) lines for my brake system restoration.
they're not nickel plating over copper; they're an alloy that is much higher strength than copper but also corrosion resistant.

Cunifer lines are great, easier to bend/flare than steel and more corrosion resistant. They have been standard in most European cars for many years. The one downside for a resto is the appearance is different than stock, the color of the lines is, well, copper-ish. Coelcanth's pics are a good example, although if you want you can polish 'em with Brasso to make them much lighter. And it's more expensive than steel, but you will make that up in time spent as these are much faster to flare and bend. Here's a rear Cunifer line I bent a few weeks ago:

Brake lines look good with the stainless steel coil spring protector.

I recently added power disk brakes with a new proportioning valve using the copper nickel lines, nice to work with.

summit racing SUM-760182 Disc/Drum set up.(1) 7/16" rear inlet, (1) 9/16" rear outlet, (1) 1/2" front inlet, (2) 3/8" front outlets. I plugged the front bottom outlet.

Confused as to why you plugged one of the front outlets. Should have 2 outlets to the front calipers. 1outlet to the back drums.

the 86 dodge dana 60 I used, has a splitter block on the axle to both calipers, with a single hose connection up to the frame.
