I have a real nice 70 d100 from califonia so rust is not a issue needs paint
on the other hand I have been doing cummins swaps on crew cab turcks
so i have a 66 powerwagon drive compleat chassis sitting here
I have been thinking about putting the 4x4 under the d100
or is it worth more as a stock driving truck it is a 318 4 speed long bed
1970 d1oo keep stock or put it on 4x4

It will probably be worth more modified than stock, unless it has some rare options.

Welcome to the site.
Putting that '70 cab on a '66 frame opens up some potential
issues if you're going to keep it a manual shift truck. The
hydraulic clutch set ups don't work too well with a mechanical
clutch cab. You'd be getting into some modifications.
As for the box....
Step side = Chevy
Utiline = Dodge

I have extra clutch set ups I was thinking just keep the 318
or just hang the 4x4 parts on the other frame
none of that looks to bad to me at this point I also have the 69 set up
I will prob be taking that truck apart to to set on a cummins
I have a diesel shop and the 66 truck on a cummins frame was alot of fun I think i want a new one
the 70 just bugs me seams like i should be doing somthing with it
i use it as a parts runner now

Re: 1970 d1oo keep stock or put it on 4x4
just was thinking this might not be the best place to say I take apart powerwagons lol
but so far Ive only done the ones that the floor was gone on
the fixable ones I have put new floors in
that being said I buy basket cases to put on new dodge frames

Most all of the Sweptlines around my area are basket cases too.hyperram wrote:just was thinking this might not be the best place to say I take apart powerwagons lol

I've used three donor Power Wagons to help me put together
a couple of half way decent ones.
