wiper arms

Post by farmhand66css »

when I turn off my wipers they stop in the up position. :pale If I turn the switch on and off quick I can get them to stop in the down position. :study Do I have the pivot arms backward? :thinking maybe swap left and right???

Do theystop immediately when you turn them off? If so, the problem is with the contacts inside the wiper assembly. There is a set of contacts and a cam that should keep the wipers going until they reach the parked position.

Russ, they do not stop when the switch is truned off they wait till they get right in your view and stop. I was going to swap pivots( left and right) when I get a chance.
