if your pre-67 truck came with Special Equipment it would be located on a sticker next to the dataplate on the door jamb. if your 67 and up truck came with special equipment it would be integrated into your dataplate. i think 71 and/or 70 trucks had sticker somewhere else.
if your did not come with special equipment it would not get a SERT sticker - that's not to say it didn't come with options but non-standard options...
clear as mud? :o)

yes - that's what i have to date minus the CSS/HPP stuff - i must not have the one you described (or i lost it if you sent it to me and probably had a senior moment even though i am not much of a senior)soopernaut wrote:Is that all the Serts you have other than CSS/HPP Serts? I don't see HC9006-Rad Suppr. I know that someone besides me had this one. Mine was on a 71 D100.
what is the number, description and year of trucks?

Cowboy and I both had the SERT# HC9006 RAD SUPPR, they were both in 71 trucks. I am guessing radio suppression.CSS-Registry wrote:yes - that's what i have to date minus the CSS/HPP stuff - i must not have the one you described (or i lost it if you sent it to me and probably had a senior moment even though i am not much of a senior)soopernaut wrote:Is that all the Serts you have other than CSS/HPP Serts? Hey, Ben
We asked you about what "Wheels" meant a while ago and didn't know if you knew what it actually signifies. The truck is a '65 W100 with 8-lug wheels and oversized drivelines and yokes. The number is 24450. The truck had a snowplow on it along time ago when it used to be in Washington and Montana. When we got it the front wheels were 16 inch split rims and the backs were 15 inch split rims. When it was in four-wheel drive it must of have to spun out a little bit because the fronts don't spin as fast as the backs do because the fronts are bigger. The drivetrain isn't ruined but we have no clue why somebody would put two different size wheels on 4WD truck? If any one knows anything about this it would be interesting to know.

Hi PowerMan,
aside from the obvious SERT descriptions and the CSS/HPP stuff my guess is as good as yours. i have seen that same number on 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton trucks. my feeling is that it may have something to do with the spare but who knows it could be the mix/match that you desribe.
there is a rumor of a "master SERT" book floating around. the seller wanted $200 for it. you can be certain that if i find it i will buy it and share what i learn from it.
i wish i knew more but at this point all we can do is add it to the master list along with a description and see what pops up along the way. this is just how i started the CSS/HPP registry... i just saved some numbers and saw some patterns. it was easy to make some assumptions based on several to compare and contrast against.
Keep 'em coming - this stuff is cool!

Re:
I may be wrong, but I think the 42421 code is for a fender mounted spare tire carrier on the utiline box, since my truck has that code and not the 42424 code. 55117 I think also applies to 1964 since I don't have a hole for a radio or a ceiling mounted radio. 41702 is also on 1964, I have the seat belt anchors, but I also have seat belt sister hooks (pat no. 3128520) that reflect a 1964 patent and appear to be very short lived and wouldn't have been available in 1963. I'm not sure if the belts are factory though or just the hooks, but the hooks are well suited for the sister hooks that attach to them.CSS-Registry wrote: ↑Wed Jun 28, 2006 2:35 pmmaybe this will help everyone...

Re: Re:
Some of the numbers were used multiple years, but they also used multiple numbers for the same description in the same year. I'm not sure the differences. Radio Suppression doesn't mean you don't have a radio. It is to limit radio interference from ignition sources.RFujan wrote: ↑Mon Oct 17, 2022 8:31 pmI may be wrong, but I think the 42421 code is for a fender mounted spare tire carrier on the utiline box, since my truck has that code and not the 42424 code.
