Can anyone decode this?

Here's the VIN on my 66'

VIN # 1181543498 :study

I'm just wondering if it came with anything special. :thinking

Rear ratio is 3.91:1

66D100 there's a decoder at sweptline .com on the home page , just have to look & go from there , I don't have a book , hope this will help you

As far as special options, the Vins on these trucks are less than helpful. What you can get from the VIN is this:

11-8-1-543498

11 - D-100
8 - V-8 engine
1 - Warren Truck plant
543498 - Suggests this is actually a late 65 model, or at least built in late 65, as the 66's started with 548000. Depends on how much you trust Dodge's early record keeping.

Use to happen a lot that it was lisenced in the year it was
bought and not built and since the late 65 and 66 are the
same trucks (as far as parts ect.) it would be easy to do.
