How do you get the frickin' door star piece out of the door? I took all four screws out, but couldn't minuplate the body of the mechanism out!!! So do I have to take the whole window rail out to get it out? Thanks

hahahahahahahaahahahahahhaaaaaaaaaaa thats how i got the one out i sent you. real pain in the nards aint it?? i would think you could get it low enough in the door to get it out thru the access holes, i tryed, but the only way i could get it out was thru the opening where the window slides up and down, and that was a pain as well. if you figure out a better way, please let me know, gonna be pulling the ones out of mine for rebuilding soon if it doesnt sell. id love to know an easier way.

Trey, you are right! What a royal pain. I think I'll end up taking the window assembly out, because what good is it to have the window go up and down, if I can't first shut the d@m door???!!!
