70 Power Wagon 318 4 speed

Post by smack »

All, looking for some feedback on updating my 70 Power Wagon from manual to power steering. CPP offers a kit that’s 90% complete. I only need to add a new crank pulley which I have available as well. I’m looking for any feedback on the kit. Anyone who may have used it or if there’s others that work well I’m all ears. Throwing out feelers before I drop a grand on a kit I can’t return.

Thanks,
SMack

You're in luck! There's a very good thread here on installing an electric system derived from a Prius. viewtopic.php?p=314025#p314025

I have the CPP and if I was going to do it again, I’d go electric. my 2 cents.

Hey My 5th just curious about the ccp unit did you have issues or was it performance related? My truck is 100% bone stock right down to the original paint which is why I was leaning towards their kit but I don’t want to spend a grand on junco with poor tech support.

Thanks
