Ride height 69 w100

Hello all, wondering if anyone has an appx ground to top of wheel well opening measurement for a stock truck. My front springs are clapped out..the rears still have arch and the truck sits level. This makes me think maybe it had rear blocks from the factory (?) that were removed to make it sit level...Im at 35" rear-38" front on 31" tires. It's a bit off as the driver front is on a stand right now but it's close. Thanks, James

if you down on the forums it explains how to post picks
don't think any 100 had blocks
think the front springs would be strait or even have a slight rev arch

Straight fits my observations on 200 series trucks.

Understood thanks...I wouldn't have thought that it would have reversed arch from the factory... learning new stuff all the time!!

Think of it this way: As the axle goes up and down, it travels an arc starting from the rear spring eye. The shackles at the front "give to the difference in the effective spring length (a chord) as the spring curves up or down. What that means is that the axle moves slightly toward the back of the truck as it travels that arc. If the bump or droop happens on only one side, that resulting fore and aft motion induces a steering effect (a form of "bump steer" of which there is more than one cause). Hence, a truck designer using leaf springs needs to minimize that fore and aft movement in the axle, which a flat and level leaf spring would do.
