1970 Ignition Location

Post by purple70rt »

Did the ignition switch move to the column for trucks like the cars in 1970? Sorry for the questions, I know nothing about the sweplines.

No, stayed on the dash. No "locking columns" on a swept ever.

Moved to the column for 1972-later light duty trucks. It stayed in the dash on the medium duty trucks through 1977.

I think the Dodge Tradesman B series van kept the ignition in the dash for a while too.
