I recently made new bed blocks for my short bed '67. Figured these dimensions might help somebody make their own blocks. Or, I have extra material.
Rear blocks 3-7/8 X 2-1/2 X 2-1/2
Rear mid 2 X 2-1/4 X 2-1/2. The 2-1/4 dimension allows for angle to match frame, approximately 1/4". I used a stripping disc on a grinder.
Front mid 2 X 2 X 2-1/2
Front 2 X 2-1/4 X 2-1/2
The stripping disc was also handy to radius the corners that register into the cross bed rails, allowing the blocks to be fully inserted. I recommend predrilling them on a drill press to make sure the holes are straight allowing alignment with frame holes.
I made them from white oak. The bed has been reinstalled and it looks perfect, the sweptline matches just right. These dimensions worked great for my truck. There could be variations year to year and so forth, I'm unaware if so.
I had a local hardwood supplier mill the stock to various sizes then I cut them to length. Due to minimum custom cut orders I ended up with extra material and as such I could cut some for somebody that needs them, feel free to PM me if so. I think I have enough to make at least 2 more sets and I'd like to get $100 for a set. I'm embarrassed to say that I had to pay the lumber yard $270 for the material thus it'd be nice to make that back.

Re: Wood Bed Blocks
The correct choice, as white oak is much less porous than red oaks, which rot much faster. I know it's not original, but if you give them a good soaking in an oil based material, they'll last much longer. Tung oil would be ideal.

Re: Wood Bed Blocks
I picked up some PVC to make my own. No rot ever that way.
