Washer fluid foot pump

Post by fireguyfire »

The washer fluid foot pump is done on the floor of my 1970 1/2 ton. Does anyone repop this part out there?

There are several used ones on the auction site. Also pretty sure some of the automobile foot pumps are the same as the trucks.

My fluid bag was rotted out and at the time, I couldn't find a replacement. So I went with a reservoir/electric pump as a replacement. That snowballed into intermittent wipe, wash, mist. The electric pump works much better than the foot pump and the intermittent (delayed) wipe is a nice feature:

Car pumps Ive seen can be adapted but are not close to the same as original truck pump. Ive done just that in my 66 W100.
Used an early 70's Mopar
A Body floor pump and mount. :thinking
My truck is younger than me.

I was thinking that the actual rubber part of the pump might be able to be exchanged out on his truck mount but wasn't sure.
