swap Early B body 8.75 in D100?

i have a 69 D100 LB with a mild 318 - 4 speed, aftermarket power steering and RamMan front disc brake conversion. the truck is a blast to drive. my goal is to tuck as much tire i can without doing a wheel tub relocation. which i am not opposed wheel tubbing. has anyone swapped an early B body 8-3/4 rear axle into a D100? I looking to attempt to tuck some 15x12's and Hoosier Quick times into the wheel wells and looking at my options on rear axle choices before i have my wheels made. I can't be the only one who has had this idea. has anyone made this work on their projects? was there any issues? work has me away from my projects for months at a time so i am doing my best to brainstorm this idea to make it happen when i get back home.
