Both Doors Stuck Closed

Post by Kumofo »

I recently purchased a 1966 D100 Sidestep. Both doors are stuck closed and I can not get inside the cab. I managed to remove the side window and roll both windows down but cannot get the doors open. Is there manual release knob to somehow unlatch the latch? I have tried to push the door open from the inside while unlatching the door handle from the outside etc etc. Nothing seems to work on either door. Please advise.

I suspect it may be cab sag that has pinched the doors, try to put pressure on the handle ( inside or outside) with somebody inside the cab kick the door to force it open. :2cents 0r jack the cab under the front floor board, or rocker area, and try the handle again

latches could be rusted
might have to pull the inner door panels roll up the windows and spray some lube in there and work the latches

Try pulling both inner and outer handles at the same time when you kick the door.
