1967 fargo - canadian

Post by Isuzustorm »

Looking at parts for a 1967 fargo, canadian. So I am aware it has the poly 318, but looking at other parts. Is there any real differences between a 66 dodge and a 67 fargo? When looking for parts, if I use 67, it doesn't give me poly parts, so I have been using 66 in looking for parts.
Thanks for any help.
1967 D100 Fargo, 318 poly.

Order parts for a 66. Dodge or Fargo, The same.
Really the only major difference is the door handles and latch assemblies from 66 to 67. Running gear is basically all the same.
My truck is younger than me.

67 Fargo has a poly, 67 Dodge has an LA. That's the big difference between 67 and 66 when they both had polys.

POLY engines show up in heavy duty app's in heavy trucks later than 1966. my 68 motor home has a poly engine. Poly engines were used into the 70's in industrial app's.

Motorhome chassis are not a good indicator of actual year of production as the chassis could sit for several years before building. :thinking :thinking

Yes it does. Its a 67. Had the dash pad in it, Ash tray lid doesn't open. One year only truck doors.

I have seen many poly head engines used in heavy trucks after 66. Not many left today, but after looking though junk yards for 40 years there were many examples 20 years ago.
