Running Clutch Linkage Without Return Spring

Post by Helper024 »

Hi, bought this 1969 Dodge W200 a few weeks ago and I've been running it without issue, until just last week my clutch linkage went out. Had a look under the truck and it seems like someone tried to jerry rig it and run it without a return spring. I don't know much about these and I've looked at diagrams and posts on here, but I'm curious if you guys have any idea's on how to fix this? Pictures at this link:

(Also if this link doesn't work let me know, new to the form)

Its coming apart. Looks like its pushed through arm for release bearing. Angles look funky also. :thinking :thinking :thinking :thinking
And it was pretty mucked up to start with from your pictures. :thinking

May be for a Ramcharger/Tin Grille Dodge truck but basically the same. Image of parts in post.

Do you think It'd be easy to just go to a junkyard and pull the parts off another mopar? From what I understand most mopars until 1986 used this for their manual transmissions. If I end up trying this I'll post an undate

Threaded rod may be a different length for some applications, Some parts the same. The arm going into bell housing may or may not be the same.
Good Luck.
