I'm a little embarrassed to admit this but noticing frequent reference to the shop manual, which I have and supplement which I didn't think I had, I went looking on the bookshelf and found I have the supplement also. It looks like I better put my noses the the book and find out more about what I don't know!

As far as I know they were not printed separately. The last printing of the 69-71 manual included it at the back.
This appears to be it, based on the cover:
http://www.autobooksbishko.com/Items/19 ... l/689.html
(my front cover is missing so can't confirm, but my binding says "supplement" under the main title)

Here's an original w/o the supplement:

They were printed separately and or combined into one. Should be a 1969 manual and the 70-71 supplement as two separate books (1969 had the black ring and pinion on the cover, the supplement had a red ring and pinion on the cover) The combined one has the black ring and pinion on the cover, just thicker and shows the 100,001 and 300,001 serial numbers on it.
There's also a 1970 Service Hi Lites with a red cover, that covers all the changes that was published first and is basically the first printing of the 70-71 supplement, just that it's not broken down by groups as the regular manuals are.
