100/200 vs 300 cab differences

What are the differences between the cabs? I just purchased a 66 W200 crew cab and I'm looking for a donor cab. I found a 68 300. I want to know if the cab mount bracket and end plates will interchange? But I know the floors are different.

When I say donor cab, just a single cab for parts. I need to do some roof repair and cowl repair. Not trying to VIN swap something, LOL. I realized how that may have come across.

Really? The tunnel width is what makes the floor pans different? That's good news.

Its tunnel height and shape that's different. Width is the same. I sent the pieces to Ben that he needed to convert his 300 70 replacement cab to a 64 D200 cab. A 300 cab sits higher above the frame, so the hump has to be lower to line up properly with the tranny and transfer case shift sticks.

If the steering shaft is located differently from the 100/200 cab, wouldn't the pedals have to be located in a different spot too?

I've never measured or looked at the difference, but I recall Powerwagon John telling me the bucket seats he found for his 69 W300 didn't work too well because they didn't put him in directly in front of the steering wheel. Factory 1 ton buckets have a SERT number and correct this issue.

The 300 chassis is narrower than the 100/200 chassis. The steering box bolts to chassis thereby causing the steering column to conflict with brake pedal; so pedal assembly is relocated.
