New owner of 1961 W100!

Post by Yukon61 »

Just wanted to say hello from Northern Canada! I recently picked up a 61 sweptline power wagon. Seems to be all original with a rebuilt 225 that runs like a sewing machine.

I took it for a drive last night, wow is the Np201 noisy. I will have to look into that further. Possibly the knock gear..?

check your trans fluid for level and color, if low top it up, if black change it out, might be why it makes noise, and welcome :salut
if that /6 sounds like a sewing machine it needs a valve lash adjustment
