Hi I have a 1966 Dodge D100 that I've been asking for some help for this past year , I question I have are rim and tire measurements, what is the correct size for a 66 D100? My truck currently hase 15 inch rims , and I want to go to 16 , I really need help on this, I thought buying any 5 lug rims would work, but I found out it's more complicated than that
I have a reference of a rim/wheel I'd like to find:

Re: Tire and rim size
The 16" wheel with the proper 5 on 4 1/2 bolt circle was an option for
the 100 series Sweptline. They're not easy to find. For a 15" wheel, the
235/75/15 is a good choice. For a 16" wheel, the 225/75/16 is a good
size.

Re: Tire and rim size
As mentioned the factory 16 inch wheels are not common. Most cars used a 15 inch wheel, but there were some years where the Ford Crown Vic and Mercury Grand Marquis (late 90s- mid 2000s or later) used a 16x7 inch wheel with the correct lug pattern. The Ford Mustang had 16s available as well. I do not know if the center hole is large enough to fit a D100, but I do recall seeing some sweptlines with Ford car wheels.

Re: Tire and rim size
Just wondering why putting yourself through locating an almost impossible to find wheel. Look at my build thread in my signature. I like the 15s. I think the tire to wheel ratio is very much old school.
