I'm sure this had been answered somewhere but I could not find it with the search function.
I have a 65 d100 that has a hydraulic clutch both brake and clutch masters are on the vehicle and I found a spare master cylinder in the tool box that I would like to rebuild. How do I identify if it is for the clutch or for the brakes?

Brake master has residual pressure valve in the output port, clutch master does not. Google it for more detail.

Thanks PrwWgnDrvr that's what I was needing to know! I torn it apart and it is a clutch master is there any where to source kits for these that you know of.

I'd start with Napa, or any other old school parts house in your area.

Not sure about the brake master but I bought a clutch master from autozone. They had it in 3 days. It was under $40. At that price it wasn’t worth my time to hunt down a rebuild kit.
