Grille paint colour

What colour is the plastic grille inserts that go inside of the stainless front grille supposed to be on a 1970 1/2 ton.
I’m guessing either black or argent?

First of all, the grill is aluminum, not stainless. 70 the inserts are sort of a flat black, 71 they are sort of a flat gray.

If you use Chrysler Argent Silver (textured), you can really make those plastic grille centers pop...if absolute originality is NOT a concern. I've had several '71 trucks that I had done that on.
