Preparing to install the 5.9 engine and Headman headers in my 68 d100 and got to looking at the parking brake cable mount going to the wheels.
It looks like I may have to move the mount on the crossmember since it may be in the way of the collector.
Anyone have any insight on this before I get in deep and have to work around the engine and trans?

Re: Parking brake cable with Headers
I had to move my e-brake cable because of headers and dual exhaust. I used the original bracket that held the cable under the truck and bolted it to a custom made piece of angle iron to move the cable over and up slightly.
This is the only picture I currently have of the bracket and mounting location

What is the part number for the Hedman headers you're using? Do they hang down? Flange thickness?
