Headlight Bezel

Post by Stubs68 »

Can anyone tell me what type of fastener was used on the 1968 grill to headlight bezel and where I might source one? The bezel was missing when I got my truck. Starting from scratch. Thank you.

I just pulled a screw out of mine a 68' and the hole is 1/4" x 1/4". A quick Google search found some on ebay for $9 in a pack of 25.

Try ".25" x .25" plastic insert headlight bezel mopar". Ford inserts came up but they should work. I'll post a pic asap.

Thanks for the pic. I do have the square plastic inserts now however they seem to push the bezel out more than they should? Will keep working on it.

All of my clips were broken on mine, I went to O'Reillys and found in the Dorman Help section identical push-in nylon nuts that were labeled under a Kia bumper retainer.

If you think of it, would you get and post the Dorman PN?
