Im working on a 1999 Dodge drango

Post by jiml »

I'm working on a 1999 Dodge Durango and I done a tranny swap the bolt pattern on the tranny that I pulled out is the same as the tranny that I put in except for the bottom starter bolts which kicks out an inch further and the tranny that I put in is actually a little bit bigger in some areas than the one I put out and I'm having trouble finding a starter for it I could appreciate some help and what I think I pulled out is a 42 or a 44 RH and from what I found that I put in is actually a 46rh transmission

Hello There,
You might want to try a Durango specific site for an answer.
Sweptline pickups are equipped differently. Perhaps somoene
here who's worked on the newer 2nd Gen era engines/transmissions
might see this post? ....

Starter is the same between 42-44-46, it's the tin cover that changes. 99 is an re trans, not rh.
