fuel sending unit

Post by bigclipper13 »

Does anyone know what kind of fuel sending unit goes on a 1963 dodge d100 town wagon 2 wheel drive, with the gas tank back by the rear doors? I do not know the size of the tank. It also has the original slant 6 engine in it also.

I have replaced mine on both my 64 Town Wagon and Town Panel the Mopar part number is 2240727.
The sender is listed in the parts catalog as "except cab" 17 gal tank

They can still be found but are pricey, below are two I located w,ith a google search. Make sure to ask for a picture to compare to what you have now

are you saying that these gas tanks are 17 gallon capacity? I can not find any info on that, 18 gallon though.
