70 w200 heater box

I have a 70 w200 with A/C I know I have to take the core to a shop to be fixed as they don't make new ones, I went to start pulling the box out and it looks like I may need to pull the whole dash just to get it out anyone else done this before ? thanks for any imput

I've pulled them put in junkyards w/o removing the dash. Lotta work, not easy.

How about the factory manual? I have removed them before and do not understand why that unit is so big but it is and it will come out without removing dash.

Mymopar might have a online manual

thank you both ,the unit just seems like it wouldn't come out with out pulling the dash . it is huge . im off to get some much needed heat in this beast thanks again
